INFOLOX takes care of the design, system selection and implementation of all channels.
The introduction of a new omnichannel strategy for marketing and sales information often requires not only design and implementation, but also the introduction of a new system environment. BINDER GmbH in Tuttlingen also faced this challenge. The world's leading manufacturer of standardised environmental simulation chambers received extensive support for this complex project from infolox.
“Together with the managers at BINDER, we first carried out a comprehensive inventory,” reports Alexander Pircher, Managing Director of infolox. “We analysed the existing print and online publications as well as all related processes and systems. We also surveyed internal and external target groups about their needs.”
The project team used the results to derive the requirements for the new omnichannel system environment. The cornerstones of future publications in the various channels were also defined. In the next step, INFOLOX developed the information architecture, required functionalities and content for the most important publications. Information modules were defined and wireframes created for price lists, catalogues and the website with the online catalogue. At the same time, the Tuttlingen-based company's design agency developed a new corporate design for the core publications.
On this basis, the sustainable omnichannel strategy is now being implemented step by step with the support of infolox. As the appropriate software products from the PIM, MAM and print publishing sectors were evaluated and introduced with the help of INFOLOX in parallel with the design phase, BINDER was able to start data maintenance at an early stage.
This means that the client can already see positive results just six months after installing the PIM system.
"Thanks to infolox's extensive experience and sophisticated methodology, we were able to implement the project efficiently. Our marketing and sales materials are now designed uniformly across all channels, our product communication has been realigned for the coming years, and the first publication, the 2015 price list, is already on its way to the printers. Even though we still have a lot of work ahead of us as we expand to other channels such as online and mobile, we are looking forward to further sub-projects with infolox. We are convinced that we have found the best possible partner for our project in infolox."
